ATR444 calculation of the average of two temperatures with subsequent display given by two 3-wire pt100 probes

Post by user0020 »

Good morning,
I need to create a system with an ATR444 controller that allows me to display the average of two temperatures.
I purchased a atr444-22abc regulator from one of your specialized distributors.
I want to connect two 3-wire pt100 temperature probe or sensor to the analog inputs of the atr444 temperature controller.
Can you tell me the electrical connections and the relative configuration parameters should i enter?
Thank you.

Good morning,
Below are the connection diagrams of the first probe or sensor required:
input / terminal 16 - pt100 probe red wire
input / terminal 17 - white wire PT100 probe
input / terminal 18 - pt100 probe red wire

Connection diagrams of the second probe or sensor required:
input / terminal 29 - pt100 probe red wire
input / terminal 30 - white wire PT100 probe
input / terminal 31 - pt100 probe red wire

Subsequently, to log in and in order to modify the configuration parameters, proceed as follows:
press "FNC" for 3 seconds;
enter the password "1234";
press "FNC" again to confirm;
use the two arrows to scroll through the parameter groups;
press "SET" to allow modification of the selected parameter;
use the arrows to change its ownership;
press "SET" again to confirm the change;

Below are the parameters to modify to select the first 3-wire PT100 probe:
GROUP Parameters A1 - [A.in.1] - Analog input 1
Par. 1 [SEn.1] = Pt100

Below are the parameters to modify to select the second 3-wire PT100 probe:
GROUP Parameters A2 - [A.in.2] - Analog input 2
Par. 19 [SEn.2] = Pt100

Below are the parameters for setting the control process to "arithmetic average":
GROUP Parameters B1 - [cMd.1] - Outputs and regulation Process 1
Par. 38 [c.Pr.1] = MEAN (setting for the arithmetic mean of the values read at inputs AI1 and AI2)

Press "FNC" once to return to parameter group selection,
Press "FNC" a second time to exit setup mode.

If you want to display both temperatures, change the following parameters in addition to the average shown in display 1:
Parameter GROUP G1 - diSP. - Display and Interface
Par. 327 [ui.d.2] = A.iN.1 (display of the first temperature in display 2)
Par. 328 [ui.d.3] = A.iN.2 (display of first temperature in display 3)
Outside the configuration parameters, pressing the "SET" key will display the control setpoint.

To simplify the operation we suggest you to download "MyPixsys" APP which, via NFC communication, will allow to view and modify the setting parameters from your mobile phone or tablet.
