Hello

Our company has purchased a device with ATR244-12ABC temperature controller. I want to keep the temperature of a tank at 25 degrees Celsius with this controller.
The temperature sensor is connected to a transmitter and produces a 4-20ma output that is connected to an input isolation amplifier(phoenix contact-2865340).
How the wiring of the controller and the settings of this circuit should be done.

Thank you!

Hi,
Attached the manual for ATR244.
If the 4-20ma signal is active, then already powered, you will need to connect it to pins 18-19 respecting the polarity of the wires.
If the 4-20ma signal is passive, then not powered, you will need to connect the positive wire to pin 16 (out 12/24V) and the negative wire (out 4-20ma) to the input of the ATR244 pin 19.

Here are the parameters to configure:
Group A [A.in.1]
- Par.1 [SEn.1] > "4-20"
- Par.4 [L.L.i.1] > "AI1 lower limit only for linear signals. Ex.: with input 4..20 mA this parameter takes value associated
to 4 mA. The value may be greater than the one entered on the next parameter."
- Par.5 [u.L.i.1] > "AI1 upper limit only for linear signals Ex: with input 4..20 mA this parameter takes value associated
to 20 mA. The value may be lower than the one entered on the previous parameter."

Best regards
