Post by user54 »

Which Pixsys controllers may be used as "Limit controller" with manual reset of the alarm output after any alarm event ?

Manual reset of the alarm output is possible on all controllers series ATR121-141, ATR142, ATR236, ATR243, DRR245, ATR401. This means that if process value reaches the alarm threshold and then goes back to normal conditions, the relay of alarm output will keep its status until the operator will press a key on front panel to reset it. The option is useful whenever it is necessary for the operator to be informed about the alarm event, avoiding an automatic reset. This feature is often referred to as “Limit controller”.

This feature may be enabled acting on parameter “AL.” (for ATR121-141) or “A1.rE” (for ATR142, ATR236, ATR243, DRR245, ATR401).

For ATR121-141:
Enter configuration level (see User manual p. 61) and set parameter “AL.” as “M.r.” or “M.r.M” depending if you want the relay to keep its condition also after switch-off and restarting ( “M.r.M”) or not.

For ATR142, ATR236, ATR243, DRR245, ATR401:
Enter configuration level and set parameter “A1.rE” (for Alarm 1) as “M.r.E.” or “M.r.E.S” depending if you want the relay to keep its condition also after switch-off and restarting ( “M.r.E.S”) or not

Manual reset option might be used with main command relay acting on parameter “rEG” (for ATR121-141) or parameter “c.rE.” (for ATR142, ATR236, ATR243, DRR245, ATR401) in the same way as for the alarms.

N.B: To rest the relays press “FNC” (on ATR121-141 e ATR142) or “SET” (on ATR236, ATR243, DRR245, ATR401).
