Deadband function ATR-141

Hi
We are using "SEru" command output to control a valve opening and closing, and a thermocouple input to define one setpoint temperature. When the setpoint temperature is reached the valve is still opening and closing, causing wear.
We wish to use deadband to stop the valve moving when the temperature is within 1°C of the setpoint, how do we do this?
