the controller when set to temp switch off from 55 - 80 deg ranges for different applications in the same heating tank. when it reaches temperature it keeps activating the contactor as it falls by a degree constantly . is there a setting to allow a greater range of temp difference or a time delay for it to come back on after reaching set point ?

to change the histeresys of reactivation of the relay, you must check [HY.c] parameter, probably now is "1.0". Setting "5.0" for example, relay will wait 5°C to go ON after it has reached the setpoint temperature.
