Atr121 issue

Post by alexi82 »

Hi guys

I have a neck chiller for winery application. Atr121 has been reset and I have no idea what settings. I used to be able to set it to - 28 degrees and it would chill the glycol liquid to that. It also has a agitator motor that is on. The compressor and the agitator have a on off switch but since the controller was reset it doesn't come on.

I can get into the settings but have no idea what settings to put in.

Any help would be appreciated as we need it in about 8 hours...

Good evening,

To be able to set:
- A setpoint with a value lower than zero
- Output Q1 closed if above the setpoint

Please configure the following parameters:
Par. 4 [Lo.S] > "-50" (minimum setpoint value that can be set)
Par. 11 [rEG.] > cool

N.B. The command setpoint can only be set outside the configuration (set it to "-28").

Please try applying them and let us know the result.

Thankyou. Will try this shortly. Are there any other settings? The whole programming got wiped. There is also an agitator attached which should be on permanently via a separate switch but is no longer coming on at all. Where would I find that setting?

Just to confirm this didn't work. It was working until the reset of the controller. So the wiring is fine. But I wonder if the controller is wired to the two switches at the front of the unit that turns the compressor and the agitator on. As now those switches don't so anything. It seems that the only output connected on the controller is q2. The numbers on the screen used to allow me to set to - 28degrees as set1 and then set 2 was permanently on 2 and wasn't able to be changed. I wonder if this will give Any clues as to how it should be setup.

In this case, I would need some additional information to better understand the situation. Could you please confirm if there are any errors displayed on the controller?

It would also be helpful to have an electrical wiring diagram of the connections between the controller and the various components to verify if everything is wired correctly.

I would appreciate it if you could provide a photo of the wiring of the unit, along with a description of each connection.

Thankyou. This is a link to all the photos that shows wiring. Is this enough? I appreciate the help. Kind of stuck here. It's a google drive link. If it doesn't work I can msg it.

Hello,
I have reviewed the photos, and I recommend trying to use terminals 4 and 5 instead of terminals 6 and 7. Additionally, please set the value of OUT1 to -28 as mentioned previously.

Please let me know if this works or if you need further assistance.

Thankyou. Will give it a go. It doesn't explain why it was working before and not after the reset of the controller?

Previously, the configured output was Q2, but now it is Q1, with the requested function.

This explain why it was working before and not after the reset of the controller.

What would the configuration be to have it running on q2 so no wiring changes? Or is it easier to re wire it?

That did not work unfortunately. The light for the output still comes on but nothing comes on. I can manually flick the contactors so power comes on but nothing at the switches and this only happened after resetting thr atr121. Is there anyway the controller is wired to control the agitator as well? It is supposed to be able to come on with or without the compressor...
