2000.35.015 current conversion to voltage

Dear consultants.
Is it possible to use 500 ohm resistor to convert output current to voltage - our controller accepts only voltage signals.
Using 500 ohm resistor i can easy convert 4 ... 20 mA to 2 ...10V acceptable for controller.
Sometimes in such situation conversion resistor is limited to 250 Ohm(not more than).

with our 2000.35.015 you can put a 500 Ohm resistor to convert 4..20mA to 2..10V
