Thanks for your information! I would like to know how to transfer the recorded data from STR551 to PC or USB or SD card without using MyPixsys apps. It is because not all operators have a phone with NFC function. They need a way to extract the data besides NFC contact. Also, the client doesn't prefer the indicator to communicate with PC on site due to the environmental reason.
Any suggestion on that?
BTW,what is the maximum number of data it can record?

Hi,
if you want to read the Datalogger, you can read the modbus register from 5001 to 7561. The data records start from 5017 to 7561. You have 2544 records avaiable.
Best regards.

But how to access the data via Modbus? Could you please tell me what device or wiring I need?
Providing steps would be appreciated.Sorry, I am a beginner to Modbus.

Hi,
using RS485 wired and Modbus RTU protocoll.
Electrical wired
PIN[16] = RS485 +
PIN[17] = RS485 -
STR551 is the "Slave", but you need a "Master" device (software and hardware) to read the STR551.

Could the master device be TD700 with monitoring software,iModView? Does it support STR551?

Hi,
you can use follow system software with td700, but doesn't support STR551.

Hi...Nuisance pilot outages are sometimes a difficult thing to pinpoint the exact cause of. When a gas boiler is converted to LP the Pilot Assembly must be part of that conversion. A simple way to check if you have an LP gas pilot assembly is to look at where the aluminum tubing connects to the pilot assembly housing in the burner compartment. The hex shaped housing that the tubing connects to should be Black if it is an LP pilot assembly. If it is all silver then you have a Natural Gas assembly.
