[STR551]Pixsys Apps NFC detection problem on STR551

Post by user14962 »

I try to use Pixsys Apps with my Xiaomi MIX cell phone which has eSE based NFC to communicate with STR551-12ABC-T128R. however, it is not working. To clarify that, I make sure the NFC function of my phone is open and put it as close as possible. I checked "supported products" in the apps and it said to support STR551-12ABC-T-R. Is it a reason why It can't detect STR551-12ABC-T128R?

Hi,
of you are using the last versione available on the Google Play Store, probably the alignment fo the phone antenna and the STR551 antenna is not correct.

Activate nfc function, open MyPixsys app, be sure where is the phone antenna and put it in this zone:

I also attacched MyPixsys app manual:

Thanks for your response! I would try your suggestion.

Another question related to data logger, what would happen if the logging time exceed 3600s?
Would it just stop logging data? or would it overwrite old data in their corresponding address?

Is that possible to log data for 24 hrs using STR551? or any possible method I can use to make a report of 24-hrs-data?

If the datalogger memory is full, STR551 start overwriting the old data.

To increase the datalogging duration, the way is to increase the sampling time, for example you can set "30second".

Do you mean the sampling frequency? If you mean datalogger time, I have already set it to 3600s. Actually I am quiet confuse about the relationship of sampling frequency, datalogger time and EEPROM memory.Higher the sampling frequency is, the shorter the datalogger time is as the EEPROM memory is limited. Am I right?

I mean parameter 110 "DATA LOGGER TIME":
"60S" means that every 60 seconds a sample will be read and stored on the eeprom so after 1 day you will have 1440 samples.
If you set "30s", every 30 seconds a sample will be read and stored on the eeprom so after 1 day you will have 2880 samples.

Oh, datalogger time means logging time interval between two recorded points.I see. Finally, I successfully read the parameters from STR551 and I would like to know the maximum data points it can record.

Also, what is the meaning of actuation delay? Is it a time delay after or before PV=SV and alarm start? Then, the actuation, said a dry contact, is on after or before that set time reaches?

For example, I set upper limit and lower limit of temperature to 4 and 0 Degree Celsius and set +3600s actuation delay for the deforesting time of refrigerators. Is it true that refrigerators wouldn't switch on even though the detected temperature exceed 4 Degree Celsius for 3600s?

Hi,
it's correct.
Ifyou insert a positive value, means that in case of alarm, the relay wait that time before changing its state.
If you insert a negative value, means that if you are in alarm state and return to normal state, the relay wait that time before returning to normal state.

Thanks for answering! The maximum delay time is 1 hour, right?

Yes, 3600 seconds.
