[TD700] Using VNC without autentication

Post by user10683 »

Hi,

I have an issue with VNCserver installed on TD700.
I can't disable "Prompt local user to accept connections" when I launch vncconfig.

Every boot the checkbox is checked !

The DIP2 dip-switch is set to Read/Write so I don't understand when my changes are not applied ?

If I boot on sdcard the checkbox is unchecked !

What's wrong ?

Hi,
to have remote access without password prompt you have to select "No Authentication" flag in VNCconfig

Thank you for your answer but the problem is not how to remove password but every time I restart the screen all my changes are lost !

The dip switch is in read/write mode so I don't understand why all is lost after reboot !

Hi,
changes are blocked for security, if you want to store them permanently you have to change this value in the system registry. Open RegEdit from desktop icon and change relative values.

I also tried this but at startup my old settings are reloaded !

Edit : It's OK I found ! It was as you said but I'm sure I already tested that :(
