[ATR142-ABC] Pre-Programmed cycle

Hello,

There is a very inertial system, so I use PID for maintaining temperature.
But now there is additional task: it is necessary to us gradient parameter for heating and cooling the system.

How does Pre- programmed cycle work:
1) How does it regulate gradient (is PID parameters being used?)
2) Does it uses PID parameters when maintenance temperature is reached (it is necessary for PID to maintain temperature)

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
to reach the setpoint with a certain gradient you can simply use soft-start function. You have to set [grad] parameter with the increasing setpoint value expressed in degree/hour.
After the regulator has reached the setpoint value, it maintains the temperature until you power-off the regulator.
During increasing and also maintaining atr142 uses PID
