ATR121 app control

Post by Halsteads »

Hi,
I'd like to be able to remotely control parameters of existing ATR121 using phone App.
Would appreciate any advice on suitable off-the-shelf modbus units that would allow this.
many thanks, David

Good morning,
The CNV580-2AD could be just the thing for you.
You can remotely control the thermoregulator connected to the CNV580 via the Pixsys Guard APP (Apple and Android). You won’t be able to configure the ATR144 remotely, just read and write the setpoints, temperature and status of the outputs.
The CNV580-2AD has the serial RS485 for communication with up to 5 devices simultaneously.
the ATR121 does not have the serial RS485, it will be necessary to go on the model ATR144-ABC-T

Link CNV580: https://www.pixsys.net/en/products/seri ... ers/cnv580
Link ATR144: https://www.pixsys.net/en/products/pid- ... ers/atr144

We are at your disposal for further information. Best regards.

Thank you. That's great news.

Is it necessary to replace the ATR121 with ATR144 and purchase CNV580?

It seems ATR144-ABC-T is out of stock and CNV580-2AD doesn't appear in online shop. Please would you advise price and availability?

Many thanks,

Yes, the ATR121 doesn’t have the RS485 serial.

I need to be able to program different temp settings over a 24hr cycle. If the ATR144-ABC-T combined with CNV580-2AD won't allow remote configuration, please would you advise suitable product?

Note: I already use EmonPi control for other devices over modbus.

many thanks, David

Good morning,
None of our products can program a cycle remotely, for example via CNV580-2AD.
Only after programming the cycle from the buttons of the device will it be possible to remotely start/stop the cycle.

I'm sorry. I don't really understand.

Maybe I haven't explained very well.

For example, I'd like to run a 24hr cycle as follows:
00:00 run at 65°C
05:00 run at 200°C
07:00 run at 100°C
17:00 run at 200°C
20:00 run at 100°C

is this not possible using a modbus controller?

From the online Pixsys video, it seems all parameters can be entered remotely? (see attached screenshots)

thanks again, David

Hi,
Please can you help me understand how I'm supposed to achieve simple program cycle as detailed in previous post?
Can you also advise price and availability so that I can upgrade existing ATR and run some experiments?
Many thanks, David

Hi,
In the ATR444-13ABC model, it includes a 12 STEP cycle.
https://www.pixsys.net/en/products/pid- ... ers/atr444
Each STEP includes a time and a threshold to set.
Cycles can program them only by the keys of the device and not remotely.
In cycles it is not possible to give precise times of the day, but only the duration of the time of that step.
For example:

Step 1: Time: 01:00 (hh:mm) threshold: 50°C - Heating step
Step 2: Time: 02:00 (hh:mm) threshold: 50°C - Maintaining step
Step 3: Time: 00:30 (hh:mm) threshold: 40°C - Cooling step
Step 4: Time: 03:00 (hh:mm) threshold: 100°C - Heating step
Step 5: Time: 02:00 (hh:mm) threshold: 100°C - Maintaining step
Step 6: Time: 01:00 (hh:mm) threshold: 200°C - Heating step
Step 7: Time: 02:00 (hh:mm) threshold: 50°C - Cooling step

You will find a more detailed explanation in the attached manual below, from page 23.

Best regards

thanks,

I think I'd like to purchase 1 x ATR121-ADT1 Analogue Input + 1 Relay 8 A + 1 SSR 12Vdc + RS485 Modbus RTU Slave / Supp. 12...24Vac/Vdc

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be available on your webstore, nor is there a link to Amazon.

Please could you tell me where I can purchase one in the UK? Or perhaps you have a demo unit I could borrow for testing?

Many thanks and best wishes, David
